The Rear View Camera offers an enhanced rear view.

This unique product available from American Security Company uses the latest video and camera vision technology to give a better view of the area behind the vehicle. When the driver shifts the vehicle to reverse, the rearview image automatically appears on a video screen (not supplied). We have video display units available separately or in kits.

The miniature waterproof digital color video camera is 5/8" in diameter and 1" long. The 1 lux sensitive rating of the camera alllows you to have a clear view of the area behind your vehicle even in low light. (Very low light conditions may give an image that appears in gray tones.) The camera has a small stainless steel bracket that can be mounted to the vehicle using (included) screws, bolts or a 3M? adhesive pad. The 150 degree angle of the wide angle lens shows the view behind you. (The exact area of coverage in the camera view depends upon the height at which the camera is mounted.) You can easily adjust the camera mount to show a larger area behind the vehicle. Or you can adjust the camera angle downward to show a detailed view of a tow hitch that will enable you to connect to a trailer without another person helping.
